Beth specialized in advertising layout and copywriting, and was a concept designer for Hochschilds before moving to Florida.Once in Florida, Beth did free lance work for Sarasota's Gulf Gate Merchants Association before moving into radio commercial production. While in radio, her commercials won more than 27 first place ADDY awards for concept and production. During this time, Beth obtained a 3rd class broadcasting license and began doing a mid-day talk and music format show at the station.
Beth left for a job as a talk show hostess at Sarasota's television station, a local ABC affiliate, where she also wrote and produced television commercials, learned to edit video and run professional video cameras. She continued her broadcasting career as a news anchor and weathercaster, at WINK TV in Fort Myers, and then in Pennsylvania.
